"Cottages"

Large, clean housekeeping cottages in Espanola, Northern Ontario. You don't have to give up the comforts of home, when you vacation in one of our cottages at Lake Apsey Resort. A wonderful escape from the city, while keeping the hot shower, the TV, (for those rainy days) and a comfortable bed to collapse into at the end of the day. Whether you spend your day fishing, playing on the beach and swimming, or just lazing, we think you will enjoy our cottage resort. There is plenty of sunshine and warm water to swim in. Explore our 90 acres of unspoiled forest, watch for wildlife, and don't forget your camera!

For your convenience, there is a store with ice, ice cream, chips, chocolate bars, pop, shirts, gift items, and used books. Anything else you may need is only minutes away in Espanola, including a hospital, restaurants, vet, repair shops, and, of course, Tim Horton's and McDonalds.

Dogs are welcome at Lake Apsey Resort, but we ask that they be kept on a leash when outside. Please do not leave them alone in the cottage, and please clean up after them. In consideration of our other guests, we ask that you keep them off of the beach and out of the swimming area.

Cottage #1 is at the waters edge, with it's own private dock. The other four cottages rest on the hillside overlooking the splendor of Lake Apsey, only steps from the beach and lake. Cottage #4 and cottage #5 are the largest cottages and will each sleep 7 people.

All cottages have been redecorated!

Each housekeeping cottage offers the following amenities:

  • Fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge and stove, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster
  • Dishes, pots and pans and kitchen utensils

Cottage #1

Situated right beside the lake, this housekeeping cottage has 2 bedrooms, with a double bed in one and a queen bed in the other. There is a patio door leading to a full-length deck with it's own private dock.

Cottage #2

Only steps from the lake, Cottage #2 has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, and the other having a queen bed. The living room has a couch and a sofa-bed. This is a very comfortable spacious cottage with a wonderful lake view.

Cottage #3

This 1 bedroom cottage has a double bed, and satellite TV. There is also a twin sofa-bed. Great screened-in porch with a lovely view of the lake. This is the perfect smaller cottage with lots of character.

Cottage #4

This family cottage is located on the upper bench, overlooking the playground and beach. It has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in one, the other having a double and a single bed. The living room can be closed off for a 3rd bedroom. (7 can sleep comfortably in this cottage).

Cottage #5

Located on the upper bench, overlooking the playground and beach, this is the end cottage. It has 2 bedrooms, with a queen bed in one, and a double and single bed in the other. With the separate living room providing a 3rd bedroom option, this is an ideal family cottage.

 

There is a $4.00 daily users fee for visitors, and a $15.00 charge for overnight guests.

Check in time is 2 pm

Check out time is 10 am.
